' Flithers & Swill '   Staithes     ' A unique fishing village on the North Yorkshire  Coast '

In association with Staithes Heritage Live Sessions and North York Moors National Park, Richard is undertaking a  project that will take a look at local history and dialect. The project waa the idea of Caro;e Zagrovic and the late  Brian Butcher.

To do this he will be collecting stories and memories from long-time residents of the community and the children of Seton Primary School.

From the information that is gathered, Richard plans to compose a song to celebrate the people, local culture and dialect that he hopes will be the lasting legacy of the project. The song(s) will be recorded in a local studio and published on CD.

A concert and exhibition of the work carried out will take place at the end of August. Copies of the CD will be available at that concert. Check this website for date and venue.

Two new songs were composed as a result of this project ''Streets Of Steers' and ' Flithers & Swill'
